Cardiac Arrest During Anesthesia

Abstract
|
|
|
Four cases of cardiac arrest associated with anesthesia and caused by various. conditions has been reported at Ewha Womans University Hospital during the period. of last 4 years.
The results are as follows:
1) Among 4 cases, 2 cases recovered without complications and 2 cases expired.
2) Pediatric patient revealed remarkable recovery with adequate management for cardiac arrest.
3) The expired 2 cases had been in very poor physical condition and delayed recovery from cardiac arrest. Of the 1 case in OB., the cause of death was presumed to be acute renal failure associated with acute pulmonary edema.
